  • 67 Degrees joins Independent Motor Dealer Association as Approved Supplier

The recent formation of the Independent Motor Dealers Association, IMDA, has seen independent dealers from across the UK come together to form a voice within the used car industry and we are delighted to announce that we are now an IMDA approved supplier for websites and marketing products and services.

Built against a backdrop of a vast amount of industry change, the association's mission is to avoid the negative outlook for the future of the independent car dealer. With recent forecasts stating that over the next five years 1 in 5 independents may cease trading, the IMDA was formed and features 7 influential industry figures at its helm.

David Bilsborough, of Cheshire Cars and vice chairman of the IMDA, speaking on the formation of the association has this to say, "We believe that independent dealers deserve the right to have an association that will represent their interests. With the amount of change that the industry has seen and the amount yet to be seen it has never been needed more than at present."

Designed to be a platform as well as a community where independent dealers can be heard, the IMDA is very much a concerted effort to ensure that not only do independent dealers survive, but flourish.

With variable factors greatly affecting the used car market at current with buyers minds on Brexit, the future of diesel, other economic factors and ever-changing buying trends, the IMDA also offers advice and best practice to its dealers in the form of industry blogs and a private dealer forum in which questions and concerns can be addressed.

It is with great pleasure that we have now become an IMDA approved supplier. Every staff member at 67 Degrees has worked in the Automotive Industry for a number of years and has a wealth of experience across all online and offline marketing strategies and products.

Not everyone is able to become an approved supplier and we believe that this statement from the IMDA puts everything into perspective, "We have carried out hours of research on each supplier to ensure they embrace the same ethics & morals as a company that we do as an Association, this obviously means that not ALL interested suppliers have made it onto our Approved Suppliers Directory."

67 Degrees was set up with passion at the forefront of everything we do. We want our dealers to feel more than just a number. We don’t just build websites, we build relationships and results.

If you are an Independent dealer looking to sign up to the association, you can do so completely free of charge at, theimda.co.uk and it's there that you can take advantage of our exclusive IMDA member only offer.
