Friday night welcomed the much-anticipated Used Car Awards 2020, which had been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Showcasing the very best of the motor trade, it was the first time in its history that the awards were broadcast online.
Undeterred by the current lockdown, the Used Car Awards were hosted by TV presenter Mike Brewer – best known for his Wheeler Dealer series – and Car Dealer Magazine founder James Baggott. Together they revealed the winning dealers and best used cars throughout 28 different categories.
The nominees had initially been whittled down from hundreds of applicants and from those, a shortlist of dealers were selected. They were then subject to a mystery shopper stage ahead of Friday’s award-winner announcements.
It was a very successful evening for 67 Degrees customers, where four of our dealers walked away with awards across six different categories. They are (in alphabetical order):
- Big Motoring World – Winner of Used Car Supermarket and Highly Commended for Used Car Website.
- Premier GT – Winner of Specialist Used Car Dealership and Highly Commended for Use of Video.
- R Symons Ltd – Highly Commended for Specialist Used Car Dealership and Used Car Dealership Of Up To 50 Cars categories.
- SW Car Supermarket – Highly Commended for Used Car Supermarket and Social Media User categories.
Congratulations to all of them on their fantastic achievements, we are extremely proud to be part of their journey. Well done to everyone who was nominated and shortlisted for an award this year in what is an ever-growing and fiercely competitive market.
In these tough and testing times, it is testament to all the dealers involved at just how hard they are working in the face of adversity. We take our hat off to you all and feel very lucky to work with so many wonderful people in the used car industry.
