Last night the cream of the automotive world descended on central London’s The Brewery for the annual Used Car Awards in a night that recognised outstanding achievement within the industry. With several 67 Degrees customers up for awards, it was a real pleasure to see many take home overall victories in their respective categories.
Fronted by televisions very own Mike Brewer, the Used Car Awards take place annually and are an opportunity to reward and honour the very best of the industry. With dealers having the potential to succeed in a range of categories, these awards recognise every area of the automotive world.
In the run-up to the event, the final five in each category are announced and it was pleasing to see Uber GT and Premier GT recognised in the ‘Best Dealership Use of Video’ category with Premier GT receiving ‘Highly Commended’ status on the night.
Alongside the two finalists in the video category, Big Motoring World also made it as a finalist in the ‘Used Car Supermarket of the Year’ category. Whilst receiving finalist status is an achievement in itself, it was great to see them go one better and sweep to overall victory in the category as Big Motoring World’s Director of Marketing, Darren Miller, took to the stage to collect their much-deserved award.
In a night that saw much success for our customers, arguably our highlight was witnessing Targa Florio Cars success in the ‘Dealer Used Car Website of the Year’ category. Ranked against some strong competition in the final five, it was very rewarding to hear them announced as overall category winners. Taking to the stage to collect the award on Targa Florio’s behalf, was our very own, birthday boy, Stuart Harvey.
Upon being announced as winners, Targa Florio was acclaimed for the impactful design of their website, a design that places full emphasis on the prestigious vehicles that Targa Florio sell. The judges stated that this site had everything needed for a consumer to make an informed decision and in an engaging way. It’s also pleasing to receive an award of this magnitude for the second year running after we succeeded in the category, at last years running of the awards, with Big Motoring Worlds website.
It is also a testament to Targa Florio for wanting to push the boundaries of what is possible and to ultimately work towards a website that is unlike any other. We must take a moment to thank everyone at Targa Florio for allowing us the creative freedom to deliver a website that is truly special, a website that is fully befitting of the Targa Florio name.
Upon going live with their new website, Targa Florio had this to add;
“A huge thank you to the whole team at 67 Degrees. Not only have you created us a bespoke website for our luxury and performance cars but one that stands out from the crowd. We are absolutely delighted with the outcome. We are a specialist luxury and performance car dealer in West Sussex, and it was crucial that our new site reflected our business and appealed to our target market.
The commitment, knowledge and passion from the 67 Degrees team dispelled any apprehensions that we had and confirmed that we had chosen the correct people to build our new site. They were imaginative and innovative in the design they created for us, all while in keeping with all of our requirements and exceeded our expectations. I would also like to add, that the team were proactive with anything we set them and never hesitated to conquer the challenges set.
For our customers, they have constructed a site that is not only bespoke to our needs and gives us the professional representation we demand but is also effortless for our customers to navigate their way around. It has been an absolute pleasure working with the 67 Degrees team and I look forward to continuing to build on the strong relationship we have already forged. Congratulations and thank you again for creating us an incredible website.”
A big congratulations to each and every one of our customers on their successes. Awards and commendations that are highly deserved and we wish you all the very best as we head into the festive season and ultimately the new year.
