Victory in ‘Website Provider for Independent Dealers’ and ‘Extra Mile Award’ see’s us clinch the double.
Last night saw the prestigious CarDealer Power Awards take place at Portsmouth’s Spinnaker Tower. A highlight on the automotive awards calendar, over the nine years since the inception of the event, it has quickly become renowned as the ‘Oscars of the Motor Industry’.
Totally unique in the automotive world, the Power Awards see’s no judging panel and all shortlisted suppliers achieve that status through the votes of their customers and dealers alone. Not only does this add an additional layer of authenticity to the awards, it also serves as a valuable measure of customer satisfaction.
Going into the awards this year as a shortlisted supplier in the ‘Website Provider for Independent Dealers’ category was an achievement in itself and we were keen to build on last years highly commended success.
We are delighted to announce that we achieved this ambition by winning the award for ‘Website Provider for Independent Dealers’. We were also in the fortunate position to be able to better that result shortly after by winning the ‘Extra Mile Award’ which capped a successful evening for us.
Up against some strong competition within the category, the ‘Website Provider for Independent Dealers’ award is designed to recognise the supplier who consistently delivers for the independent segment of the market. Knowing that this award is voted for by our customers is very satisfying and reaffirms our belief and our approach to our work.
It’s especially pleasing to win by receiving such endorsing feedback from our customers such as ‘cutting edge websites and impeccable customer service’ as Justin Woodford took to the stage to collect the award for us.
Whilst winning the ‘Website Provider for Independent Dealers’ was an achievement itself, we were surprised and delighted to learn that we had won the trophy for the ‘Extra Mile Award’. Designed to celebrate the company that has gone above and beyond for their clients, this award represents far more than just a trophy. For us ‘The Extra Mile Award’ means more than any other award to date. It is everything we stand for.
We started this business with a passion for everything that we do and, love nothing more than getting to know our customer’s businesses and tailoring our service and support to really benefit them. Receiving feedback such as ‘Cutting edge website and impeccable customer service’, ‘Great account management and support’ and ‘Nothing is ever too much trouble and they always deliver what I ask, on time’ from our customers was particularly humbling and this award victory is still yet to fully sink in. It was also a pleasure to see Stuart Harvey go up and collect the award.
Car Dealer Magazine CEO, James Baggott, added on the night: “Even though their businesses might be smaller, in today’s market when customers are happy to shop around and are less worried about driving to collect the right car, independent dealers’ websites are just as important as franchised.
“Our winner this year has made a huge difference to car dealers. Having only been founded in early 2016, it has made a name for itself fast.”
Post awards, we are feeling incredibly lucky and grateful and we are finding it very hard to put into words just how much these awards mean to us. We are lucky to have such an amazing circle of family, friends, colleagues and clients that have all supported our business for the last 2 years and we are extremely grateful for each and every one of our customers for not only voting for us but for trusting us with their business.
