Another year means a whole 12 months of motorsport to look forward to across the UK and trust us, there’s a huge amount to get excited about in 2024! 

We are super lucky to have so much motorsport activity not only on our doorstep, but right across the country; from the world-renowned Goodwood Festival of Speed to the British Grand Prix, exclusive Salon Privé events and the Classic Motor Show, you are spoilt for choice when it comes to making the most of what the motor industry has to offer.

Discover all the dates for your diary with our month by month rundown of the must-see motorsport events in 2024… 

JANUARY

Autosport International

When: Thursday 11th until Sunday 14th January 2024

Where: NEC in Birmingham

The largest motorsport event in Europe, Autosport International kicks off the season in style by boasting three unique shows all under one roof. Visitors will experience the Engineering Show, The Racing Car Show and Performance & Tuning Car Show which brings together motorsport brands, automotive professionals and fans of all ages across one jam-packed weekend.  

FEBRUARY

The London Classic Car Show

When: The usual February date has been postponed until Summer 2024

Where: Date TBC

The London Classic Car Show is a MUST for lovers of classic cars. Whether you’re a buyer, collector or an enthusiast with a passion for classic motors. Held at London Olympia for 60 years, the event this year is currently postponed until further notice due to restoration work at the venue. The London Classic Car Show hopes to reschedule the event for Summer 2024 – watch this space for more details.

MARCH

Everything Electric LONDON 2024

When: ExCeL London

Where: Thursday 28th until Saturday 30th March 2024

If you’re a fan of everything electric, then get yourself along to the Everything Electric LONDON event – it is the world’s number one home energy and electric vehicle expo. This is your chance to see the most exciting EVs on the market, experience a hands-on test drive, and an opportunity to test out the latest micro-mobility tech! Doors are open from 10am-5pm Thursday and Friday, 10am-4pm on Saturday. Tickets are priced at £45 (concessions are available) and children under 15 go free.    

APRIL

Goodwood 81st Members’ Meeting

When: Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th April 2024

Where: Goodwood Motor Circuit, Chichester in West Sussex

Members of the Goodwood Fellowship can get excited for another action-packed year at the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit not far from us in sunny Sussex. Kicking off a jam-packed season of epic motorsport, the 81st Goodwood Members’ Meeting is a weekend of motor racing fun and on-track thrilling display of demos. In 2024, members are in for a treat – get set to be stunned by the brand-new Sidecar Shootout which will make its debut on the Sunday!

Salon Privé London

When: Thursday 18th until Saturday 20th April 2024

Where: Royal Hospital Chelsea in London

Lovers of luxury cars are in for a treat when Salon Privé comes to town. Both historic and modern cars come together for three days of premium automotive delight. A highlight of the event is what’s called the ‘Concours de Vente’ which wows fans by showcasing a carefully curated selection of no less than 75 of the world’s rarest historic cars. Adult tickets start at £50 on the Saturday or £75 on Thursday or Friday with hospitality packages available from £225.     

MAY

Goodwood Breakfast Club: 100th Sunday

When: Sunday 5th May 2024

Where: Goodwood Motor Circuit

The first Goodwood Breakfast Club of the year starts with a special 100th Sunday event which celebrates the 100th breakfast club with every kind of car, bike and bus you can imagine – it is set to be a sight to see! Tickets are free and are available online on a first come first served registration basis – one ticket per person only. 

Supercar Fest – The Runway

When: Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May 2024

Where: Sywell Aerodrome in Northamptonshire

If you want to be surrounded by the world’s greatest supercars up close and personal, then you’ll want to get yourself to Supercar Fest and its flagship ‘The Runway’ event. Witness the best in supercar action as drivers aim to set lap records in front of an excited crowd. Make the most of unrestricted access to the Supercar Paddock, and take photos of some of the most expensive cars in the world. General entrance tickets start from £25 for adults and £10 for children aged 3-16 years (children under 2 go free).      

Fully Charged LIVE UK North

When: Friday 24th until Sunday 26th May 2024

Where: Yorkshire Event Centre, Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate

Having visited people down south, the Fully Charged LIVE event heads up north to Yorkshire for another three days of fun-filled activities, displays and exhibitions all about electric vehicles. Ticket prices start from £28 for 3-day admission and children under 15 go free. 

JUNE

Goodwood Breakfast Club: Super Sunday

When: Sunday 2nd June 2024

Where: Goodwood Motor Circuit, West Sussex

The second of Goodwood’s four breakfast clubs in 2024 pays tribute to the ultimate horsepower machines. Prepare to be wowed by the biggest and best supercars, hypercars, and superbikes on the planet. Tickets are free on a first come first served basis when you register online.

London to Brighton Classic Car Run

When: Sunday 2nd June 2024

Where: Starting at Brooklands Museum in Weybridge, Surrey

A staple in many classic car fans diaries, the London to Brighton Classic Car Run returns for another year. Head to Brooklands Museum for the 8.30am start to see a whole host of automobiles head off on an exciting journey to Madeira Drive on Brighton seafront. This time the classic cars taking part will be joined by kit and sports cars, plus modern classics too. The best way to enjoy this must-see event is by parking up along the route and cheering on the participants – it’s certainly a sight to see!

London Concours

When: Tuesday 4th until Thursday 6th June 2024

Where: Honourable Artillery Company, London

What a treat this is for any car fan who likes a little bit of the good life… Set in the beautiful gardens of the Honourable Artillery Company headquarters, London Concours displays a collection of the world’s finest cars. Enjoy three days of a car lineup that will wow you; this year’s event will feature 50 McLarens, 50 Jaguar E-Types and 50 Supercars. Tickets can be booked online and start at £55 for an adult, and £25 for children. 

American Speedfest 11

When: Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th June 2024

Where: Brands Hatch, Kent

Fans of American-fuelled motorsport will be heading to Brands Hatch for American Speedfest 11 – the biggest celebration of motor racing from the United States. Expect two days of supercharged action such as the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, Pickup Truck Championship and a masterclass in V8 muscle cars. Adult tickets start at £25 and children under 13 go free. 

The Brooklands Festival of Motorsport

When: Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th June 2024

Where: Brooklands Museum in Weybridge, Surrey

Experience a weekend of summer motorsport extravaganza at Brooklands Museum for their annual Festival of Motorsport. Contemporary and classic cars come together to compete at the Speed Trials and Test Hill ascents. Fans of a bygone era can cast their eye over vintage gems on the ‘Pride of Brooklands’ Concours, plus there’s plenty of entertainment on show for all the family – big or small. Adult ticket prices start at £19.95 and under 5s go free, or book a family ticket of 2 adults and up to 3 children from just £52.50.

Goodwood Breakfast Club: GRRC Sunday

When: Sunday 23rd June 2024

Where: Goodwood Motor Circuit, West Sussex

The third of four Goodwood Breakfast Club events in 2024 will celebrate GRRC Members (Goodwood Road Racing Club) by showcasing an eclectic selection of cars and bikes in the club’s possession. As such, this special edition of the Breakfast Club is only open to GRRC members.             

JULY

Formula 1 Aramco British Grand Prix

When: Thursday 4th July until Sunday 7th July 2024

Where: Silverstone Circuit in Towcester, Northamptonshire 

The thrilling spectacle that is Formula 1 returns to Silverstone for the 2023 British Grand Prix! It’s all to play for as another season wings its way back to the UK over four days of nonstop action which includes practice 1, 2 and 3, alongside qualifying and of course the main race. Plus, enjoy entertainment from Stormzy and Kings of Leon on the main stage! Single day tickets start from £100.

Goodwood Festival of Speed

When: Thursday 11th until Sunday 14th July 2024

Where: The Goodwood Estate, Chichester in West Sussex

The world-famous Goodwood Festival of Speed returns for another sensational event. Car fans from all over the country gather to experience what’s considered the greatest celebration of motorsport and car culture all in one place. It really is the best motoring action that money can buy, so tell your boss you’re booking four days off work and get ready to experience the thrill of FOS! Tickets start at £63 per person and sell very quickly.

Supercar Fest – The Track

When: Saturday 27th July 2024

Where: Mallory Park in Leicestershire

A brand new event for 2024, Supercar Fest proudly presents ‘The Track’ held at the iconic Mallory Park race circuit. This high-octane adrenaline-fuelled spectacular will feature supercars, hypercars, racing cars and superbikes and some extra special demos can be expected too. Tickets start at £22.50 per person for adults, with tickets priced at £10 for under 16s. Free parking on site.      

Goodwood Breakfast Club: Classic Car Sunday

When: Sunday 30th July 2024

Where: Goodwood Motor Circuit, West Sussex

The last of three special Goodwood Breakfast Club’s in 2023, Classic Car Sunday is exactly what you’d expect; a true celebration of heyday era cars and motorbikes that will leave you feeling nostalgic and wanting to go back to the ‘good old days’. If a car was made before 1982, it will no doubt be on show for you to see up close and personal. Free tickets will be available online up to six weeks in advance. 

AUGUST

Goodwood Breakfast Club: Classic Sunday

When: Sunday 4th August 2024

Where: Goodwood Motor Circuit, West Sussex

Celebrating the best cars and bikes of yesteryear, the fourth and final Goodwood Breakfast Club of 2024 is the much anticipated Classic Sunday event. Featuring classic vehicles from pre-1984, vintage fans can admire the selection of models on show. Tickets are free of charge and can be booked online on a first come basis.   

The British Motor Show

When: Thursday 15th and Sunday 18th August 2024

Where: Farnborough in Hampshire

More cars, more entertainment and more fun, The British Motor Show returns to Farnborough and is set to be bigger and better than ever in 2024. Motorsport fans of all ages will be wowed by fantastic driving experiences and amazing stunt shows alongside live arena displays that will take your breath away. It’s a jam-packed weekend of family fun that will leave you wondering why you’ve never been before. Single day adult tickets start at £23.50 and a 4-person family ticket starts at £47.

CarFest

When: Friday 23rd until Sunday 25th August 2024

Where: Laverstoke Park Farm in Overton, Hampshire

The brainchild of petrol head presenter Chris Evans, CarFest is three days of motorsport-themed fun and music for the entire family. From racing cars to racing drivers, main stage music, an adventure zone and food to keep you fuelled throughout the festival, there really is so much to see and do. Raising money for children’s charities in the UK, this year’s headliners include Olly Murs and Sam Ryder. Day tickets cost £87 for an adult and £20 for a child.

Silverstone Festival

When: Friday 23rd until Sunday 25th August 2024

Where: Silverstone Circuit in Towcester, Northamptonshire

Celebrate the end of the summer motorsport season at Silverstone Festival to experience the best in historic motorsport paired with an incredible bank holiday weekend of music, fantastic food and family-friendly fun. Revel in a specially-curated 20-race programme and a host of events to celebrate 100 years of motorsport. Single day tickets start at £25 or opt for a 3-day weekend ticket from £130.

Salon Privé Blenheim

When: Wednesday 28th August until Saturday 31st August 2024

Where: Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire

The second of Salon Privé’s motorsport events of the year heads to the regal Blenheim Palace where a collection of the rarest and finest classic cars will be on show. If you want to be one of the first to lay your eyes on the newest supercars in person, then you can expect many debuts during four days of experiencing the most luxurious automotive brands. Adult ticket prices start at £50.

Concours of Elegance

When: Friday 30th August until Sunday 1st September 2024

Where: Hampton Court Palace, London

This exclusive event for luxury car fans brings together the finest selection of 60 of the rarest cars in the world – all in one stunning location. Concours of Elegance is a three-day automotive extravaganza that offers a slice of motoring history within touching distance. Adult tickets start at £55.                  

SEPTEMBER

Goodwood Revival

When: Friday 6th until Sunday 8th September 2024

Where: Goodwood Motor Circuit in Chichester, West Sussex

One of our highlights in the automotive calendar, Goodwood Revival is a staple event for any classic car fan – it really is a notch above the rest! Considered to be the greatest historic motor race meeting, experience three days of nostalgic motorsport in the late summer sunshine and to really get in the spirit of things, head back in time by sporting some vintage fashion too. Tickets start from £72 per person, but make sure you book early to avoid disappointment! 

OCTOBER

Fully Charged LIVE UK South

When: Friday 11th until Sunday 13th October 2024

Where: Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre, Hampshire

If you’re keen to go green, then the Fully Charged LIVE UK South electrical vehicle show is a must attend event this year. With plenty to see and do for all the family, the event is designed to inspire you to immerse yourself in a world of zero emission vehicles through a variety of visitor attractions and exhibitions, all packed into three days – children under 15 go free!

NOVEMBER

London to Brighton Veteran Car Run

When: Sunday 3rd November 2024

Where: Starts at Hyde Park in central London

The London to Brighton Veteran Car Run returns for another momentous year along a route that will be filled by many spectators. It’s an iconic event that is steeped in history and can be tracked all the way back to 1896. Even the Queen once demonstrated her interest in the event when she entered a 70-year-old Daimler in 1971. Why not cheer on the participants from the start line in London’s Hyde Park, or be ready to welcome the finishers down on Madeira Drive in Brighton.

Classic Motor Show

When: Friday 8th until Sunday 10th November 2024

Where: NEC in Birmingham

The Classic Motor Show brings together the greatest collection of vintage cars and motorbikes all under one roof. Alongside all the classic cars on show, you’ll also get to hear talks from motoring experts and celebrities who all have one thing in common – an ultimate love of automobiles from a bygone era. Join them on the day and help raise money for some very worthy children’s charities too.
