As a local employer in Sussex, we’re proud to be part of the Living Wage Campaign. Launched in 2012, the Brighton & Hove Living Wage Campaign encourages local businesses like us to voluntarily pay all employees the real living wage, instead of the government’s national minimum wage.
Here at 67 Degrees, we are passionate about our business and we are passionate about our people. The Living Wage Campaign ensures that employees earn over and above the government’s national minimum – something that we strongly believe in as a company.
As a company, we already deliver on the pay promises outlined by the Brighton & Hove Living Wage, but by officially being part of the campaign, we can lead by example and encourage other SMEs here in Sussex to do the same. Happy employees improve morale which in turn increases productivity, so it’s a win win!
Being a digital-based company, we’ve been fortunate to work remotely and effectively during the pandemic’s lockdown restrictions. This has enabled us to restructure and expand so we are now actively recruiting, which has encouraged us to support the campaign.
Part of our recruitment process is to ensure that potential candidates understand the benefits of working with a small independent company like ours and the perks we can offer. Amongst flexible working hours, a work-from-home policy and a birthday day off, our commitment to meet and exceed the minimum level of pay is just another reason to join our team.
We’re currently recruiting for a number of roles and are on the hunt for talented and passionate people to help shape our business. If you’re looking for a new challenge and want to be part of our award-winning team then get in touch – we’d love to hear from you.
