Established in 2014, The Car Group is an approved dealership that specialises in quality used cars at competitive prices. Based in Bury town centre in Greater Manchester, The Car Group stocks over 500 cars and offers a full range of dealer services all under one roof.

With an experienced team of over 60 people, the dealership is passionate about delivering great customer experiences in their unique showroom.

The Brief

We listen, then do

Taking inspiration from the SW Car Supermarket website created and built by our talented dev team, The Car Group wanted a website that was equally impactful and provided all the information consumers needed.

Priding themselves on providing great choice, value for money and delivering a great experience, the Bury-based car supermarket wanted to showcase their state-of-the-art facilities and wide range of used cars to a nationwide audience.

The Car Group wanted to make an impact, without too much fuss. Attention to detail was of course important, but it shouldn’t overshadow the overall user experience. The dealership’s branding is bold, so colour needed to be a running theme throughout the site, alongside subtle animation and image detailing of stock.

A one-stop-shop for used cars, Car Group consumers needed to be able to access additional products with ease, such as; finance tools, servicing requirements, and online purchasing.

The Results

How it's going

The Car Group means business, so we created a website to get them seen and heard within the used car market. Branding is on point thanks to the use of the dealership’s primary and secondary logo colours featured throughout the website.

Distinctive blocks of images and information capture customers from the minute they land on the homepage, and elements such as a Live Chat feature enables visitors to touch base and ask questions. Stock images are gracefully presented in grid view with bespoke dynamic styling when a user hovers over an image or clicks on a button.

The implementation of our two-step reserve online function takes things to the next level. Why should you stop selling cars once the showroom closes? Work with us on your new website, and you’ll never need to shut your dealership doors again.

  • In the past 6 months, goal completions from direct traffic increased from 462 to 3,580! (yes, really!)

  • In the last 6 months, there have been 1,440 part exchange enquiries, an increase of 169% YoY

  • Organic search visits have increased by 45% over the past 6 months MoM
